OBANFANSHOP.COM is the webstore directly run by the team of SAV! THE WORLD PRODUCTIONS,
the French studio behind the TV-series Oban Star-Racers managed by Savin Yeatman-Eiffel.
We created this site to give demanding fans access to a selection of high-end
merchandising products, some of them totally exclusive, in complement to the
consumer products our partners may offer throughout the world.

We maintain this page before all to thank you for your support and to meet
your expectations as best as possible. It takes quite a lot of time but is not
necessarily a very lucrative activity ;)
- HOW TO ORDER?
We sale worldwide but only online.
Browse through the site and pick the items you are interested in, putting them
in the cart, checking-out and so on.
If there is something you really don’t understand, you can contact us
at contact@obanfanshop.com. The time of reply will depend on the amount of inquiries
we get, but we will always answer you with great pleasure.
- HOW TO PAY ?
You have two possibilities:
- Paument by Credit Card via PayPal.
This service is provided by PayPal. You don't need to have a PayPal account
to use this service. Like all other credit card payments, it is secure and easy
to use.
At the 'payment method' page, select the option 'credit card/paypal'. This will
lead you to a page where you just have to click on 'secure checkout' under the
'Don't Have a PayPal Account?' header.
The site will then prompt you to fill in your personal and credit card information
in order to make the payment.
- Payment by PayPal account
This service allows you to pay your order by sending money from your PayPal
account to the OBANFANSHOP.COM account. Sending money via your PayPal account
is a free service. You have the choice to charge the payment to either your
credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or your checking account.
Creating a PayPal account is quick and simple. Click here for further information.
Please ensure all information entered when registering to our site and when
passing an order is correct.
- WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING & HANDLING COSTS FOR MY ORDER?
S&H costs dare calculated on an estimate of the weight of your order.
To know shipping & handling (S&H) costs, click on "checkout"
(top right) after adding the items you wanted to buy to your cart,. The first
step will show you S&H costs; depending on your address of delivery express
or economy shipping costs may be available. At this stage, it is possible to cancel
your order by returning to the previous page.
Our S&H costs are based on an estimate of the total weight of your order.
Our prices are those of our mailing partner La Poste for such an order, plus a
handling fee of usually 0.5 € per item.
- CUSTOMS AND VAT
France applies a European Value Added Tax of 19,6% on most goods, and of 5,5% on
books. The prices displayed on the site (unless you are logged in as non EU resident)
include that VAT.
In accordance with the current legislation, you will have to pay the VAT on all orders
shipped to France Metropolitan and European Union countries. For orders shipped to
the rest of the world, we will automatically deduct the VAT and only charge you the
price of your order without tax (significantly reducing the total price of your order).
It is possible however that your order be subject to customs fees and taxes when you
receive it in your home country. We cannot guarantee whether you will be subjected to
such taxes or not as they depend entirely on your country’s own customs policies.
These local taxes will be entirely at your charge. As a general rule however low value
or small packages usually travel free of taxes.
- HOW DO YOU HANDLE SHIPPING?
For France and the French DOM-TOM territories all orders are shipped via Collissimo
for optimum security and comfort. Maximun weight for a single order is 30 Kg for
metropolitan France and the DOM territories and 10 Kg for TOM territories. It
usually takes between 2 to 4 days to prepare your order, then two more days for
the shipping itself in metropolitan France.
For Europe and the rest of the world, 3 options are now available:
- Shipping via International Priority Mail.
Offering no tracking and not fast, it is nonetheless a reliable and most of all
very affordable option for ours customers. The maximun weight for a single order is 2 Kg.
It usually takes between 2 to 4 days to prepare your order, then around one week for
shipping itself in countries bordering France, and usually between 1 week to 1 month
for the rest of the World depending on your location. This shipping option is not available
for some categories of products such as the collectible figures.
- Shipping via Colissimo International.
It's the express shipping service from La Poste. It’s not as fast as those from Fed Ex or
UPS, but it's less expensive and it also allows for signed delivery as well as for tracking
in a large number of territories (including among others Japan and most EU countries.
In the USA, tracking is only partial and stops once the parcel has left France).
Worth noting: with that option the shipping costs are the same for the up to 1 Kg of
merchandise.
- Shipping via Colissimo International Economy.
This service for parcels from La Poste is a little cheaper. It doesn't allow any tracking
but allows signed delivery.
NB1: the number of delivery days is the one given by La Poste. We only display it
during the ordering process as an estimate for our customers. Depending on the country
of destination and to the customs procedures in place, deliveries may take a little longer.
Though we try to use the most reliable postal services available, we cannot guarantee the
numbers of days for delivery as we have no direct control over them.
NB2: also remember to check the availability dates of all our products. Orders including
products that have not been released yet (marqued with *** in your kart) will
not ship until all those products have become available.
- HOW TO KNOW MY ORDERS STATUS?
Log in your account.
An order can have three different status :
1- Open : payment has not yet been received. We are waiting for it before starting
to proceed with your order. Please note that a change of order status isn’t
updated in real time. If you have just paid, don't expect it to change immediately.
2- Proceeding : we are waiting for one or several items before shipping. It
is also possible that the Post office hasn’t opened up yet at that time
(week-end or public holiday). Order hasn’t shipped yet.
3- Sent : your order has been shipped out.
- I WANT TO UPDATE OR CANCEL MY ORDER
Once your order has been paid it is not possible to update it or cancel it.
- I DON'T GET ANY ANSWER FROM YOU
If you don't get any answer from us for several days (it may take up to 1 week
when we are very busy) this is most likely that your email address isn’t
correct or that your mailbox is full. We frequently get emails from customers
who haven't entered their mail addresses correctly. In that case we can't do
anything else but wait, and hope that they will notice their mistakes and send
their email again.
- SHIPPING ISSUES
Please note that the goods travel at the buyers own risk and advice you to
check the content of the shipment(s) in presence of the delivery man upon receipt
of your items.
In the unlikely case of a claim of loss of a shipped item, a short investigation
shall be made. Depending of the result of that investigation we may accept to
send you an exact copy of the lost article. In all cases, the costs of a lost
shipment and of its shipment costs shall not be refunded.
- RETURNS
According to the French law, you have a right of retraction and exchange during
7 days after the reception of the ordered product(s). The demand must be made
in writing.
All returned products must be in their original packings. Money will not be
refunded if products are returned either damaged or unpacked. The shipping costs
for returning the products are at the expenses of the buyer and will not be
reimbursed.
Before any return, you must contact our Customer care service via the contact
form for us to confirm you the procedure to follow and to check the various
elements regarding this return.
Please note that the money spent for a lost article can't be refunded. In case
of declared loss a short investigation will be made in order to understand the
reason of the loss, and depending of the result of that investigation, we may
agree to send an exact copy of the lost article.
- FRAUDS
Authors of any usurpation of identity, fraudulent use of payment solutions
or credit cards, swindle, unfounded protest of payments and other actions or
omissions liable to damage Ankama will be prosecuted.
- RESPONSIBILITY
We decline any responsibility for the following circumstances:
1. Act of God preventing the good execution of the contract (i.e Act of God)
2. Loss of benefits and other shortfall in earnings in the event of delivery delay
3. Products forbidden in the country of delivery
4. Damage caused by the use of products on sale but not manufactured by us.
5. Suspension/interruption of our activity
6. Nonsubstantial differences with the description of the products. The pictures and other visual elements are not contractual.
7. Errors and omissions that may have occurred in spite of our vigilance in the
presentation of the goods and of their prices
